Rainbow quilt take 2
After creating this quilt here , I re-visited the pattern, this time with planned out fabrics. The quilt was made for the new baby of a friend. I went with a white background fabric this time and a proper 7 colour rainbow! Thanks to a solid colour fat quarter pack, I had those at hand. The cloud is made up of three different fabrics. The backing is a lovely Australians print (kookaburras!), which hopefully makes my friend’s new arrival feel right at home.
