Cloud and rain quilt

Not sure how a came across this free pattern, but once I saw it, I could not get it out of my head. Rainy weather doesn't have to be dull.

I thought I need to go shopping for some fabric to make the quilt, but then I found a light blue checkered ababy crib flat sheet that we haven’t really used. With some unicorn and hot air Balloon quilting fabrics for the cloud and matching solid colour strips for the rain, there was no need to buy new fabric!

The pattern is really easy to make up, and I love the result, it's so cute. The quilt was finished with a bright green border. Final size is 96cm by 115cm (38in by 45in).

This quilt was donated to Project Linus Queensland chapter.
