Little red riding hood

The little red riding hood jelly roll was already used in these two quilts: #1 and #2. But there were still full strips and some scraps left. I found this tutorial and got inspired. The roll had still some red, pinks and greens left as well as the lighter strips. I was just short of a few, which i filled in with solid white and some scraps from another jelly roll. This quilt is quick to make. It was super fun arranging the colours and I could not be happier with the result. It must be my favourite make so far! Finished size100x128cm (40“x50“).

Donated to project Linus QLD chapter in November 2021.

The backing was a mix of black/grey/white and a rainbow. I did not heavily  quilt it - I went along the center lines of the light strips. This quilt is yet to find a new home.
